K-Sein is a clinical nutrition product containing calcium caseinate, a protein derived from milk. Developed and marketed by Nucitec in Mexico, K-Sein is used as a dietary supplement to satisfy protein requirements in patients with inadequate daily protein intake due to maldigestion, intestinal malabsorption, malnutrition, or increased protein loss from extensive wounds and burns. It is administered orally or via enteral tube feeding.
