Calcium hydroxylapatite + lidocaine is an injectable soft tissue filler formulation combining synthetic calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres suspended in a gel carrier with 0.3% lidocaine. The lidocaine component is included to reduce pain and discomfort during the injection procedure. The product is primarily indicated for subdermal implantation to correct moderate-to-severe facial wrinkles and folds (such as nasolabial folds). The CaHA microspheres provide immediate volume correction and stimulate endogenous collagen production (neocollagenesis), resulting in long-lasting results for facial rejuvenation and volume restoration. The addition of lidocaine does not alter the performance, safety, or aesthetic efficacy of the filler, and is associated with significantly reduced pain ratings during and after injection[2][4][9][7].
