Calcium magnesium potassium carbonate chloride hydroxide is a proprietary, structured, highly alkaline agglomeration of reactive magnesium hydroxide, potassium chloride, and potassium hydroxide held apart in a matrix of calcium carbonate. It is an experimental small molecule complex used as part of the dietary management for chronic venous insufficiency (CVI), primarily as a component of the product Vasculera. The mechanism involves acid buffering in the gastrointestinal tract and systemic modulation of metabolic processes associated with CVI, including venous tone modulation, capillary resistance improvement, lymphatic drainage management, and reduction of microcirculatory inflammation. The alka4-complex resists neutralization by gastric acid and helps reduce acidosis under extreme exercise or dietary conditions[1][2].
