Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Calcury is a proprietary Ayurvedic polyherbal formulation developed by Charak Pharma for the management of urinary calculi (urolithiasis/kidney stones) and related urinary tract disorders. It is available in both tablet and syrup forms. The formulation contains a blend of traditional herbs, including *Crataeva nurvala* (Varuna), *Tribulus terrestris* (Gokshura), *Bergenia ligulata* (Pashanabheda), and *Boerhavia diffusa* (Punarnava), which collectively exhibit litholytic (stone-disintegrating), diuretic, anti-inflammatory, and analgesic properties. Calcury helps facilitate the passage of urinary stones, prevents their recurrence, maintains crystalloid-colloid balance, and relieves symptoms such as dysuria, hematuria, and renal colic.
