Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Calecim is a line of regenerative cosmeceutical products whose active ingredient is the conditioned media derived from Red Deer Umbilical Cord Lining Mesenchymal Stem Cells (RD-CLMSC). Developed by CellResearch Corporation, this extract is a complex protein mix containing an exosomal suspension rich in cytokines, growth factors, extracellular matrix proteins, and peptides. The product is designed to stimulate human dermal fibroblast (HDF) proliferation and upregulate the production of essential skin components such as elastin and hyaluronic acid. Clinically, Calecim has demonstrated efficacy in improving skin turgor, elasticity, and tone for facial and eyelid rejuvenation, and it has been utilized as a therapeutic intervention for telogen effluvium, including hair loss induced by COVID-19.
