Calendula officinalis whole refers to the entire dried or fresh plant of Calendula officinalis, commonly known as pot marigold. It is widely used in herbal and homeopathic medicine for its purported antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and wound-healing properties. Calendula is not an approved pharmaceutical drug but is available in over-the-counter products such as teas or topical preparations[2][4][5][6].
