Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Calmvalera Hevert Tabletten is a homeopathic combination medicinal product developed by Hevert-Arzneimittel for the treatment of nervous restlessness, sleep disorders, and situational anxiety, such as test anxiety. The formulation, known as the 'Calm-9 complex,' contains nine active homeopathic ingredients: Cimicifuga D3, Cocculus D4, Cypripedium pubescens D4, Ignatia D6, Lilium tigrinum D6, Passiflora incarnata D3, Platinum metallicum D8, Valeriana D2, and Zincum valerianicum D3. While its mechanism is not defined in conventional pharmacological terms, clinical studies using quantitative EEG have demonstrated that the product increases spectral alpha-wave power in the brain, which serves as a surrogate marker for relaxation and calmness. It is non-sedating, non-addictive, and suitable for long-term use.
