Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CAM-5746 is a preclinical-stage drug candidate being developed by Cambrian Bio (through a stealth subsidiary) to address the loss of proteostasis, one of the hallmarks of aging. Proteostasis involves the maintenance of the proteome's integrity through protein folding, trafficking, and degradation. Dysregulation of these pathways is linked to various pathologies, including protein misfolding diseases. CAM-5746 is specifically being investigated for the treatment of autoimmune and rare diseases. As of 2024, the program is in the lead optimization stage of preclinical development.
