Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CAM-HER2-Pb-212 is an investigational radiopharmaceutical developed by Precirix in collaboration with Orchestra Life Sciences. It consists of a camelid-derived single-domain antibody (nanobody) that specifically targets the Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2 (HER2), conjugated to the alpha-emitting radioisotope Lead-212 (Pb-212). This therapeutic candidate utilizes Precirix's CAM-TRT platform to deliver high-energy alpha particles directly to HER2-expressing cancer cells, causing lethal double-strand DNA breaks while minimizing damage to surrounding healthy tissue due to the short range of alpha radiation and the rapid clearance of the small nanobody format. It is currently in the IND-enabling stage of development for undisclosed oncology indications.
