CAM1615HER2 is a tri-specific killer engager (TriKE) biologic drug engineered to target cancer cells expressing the HER2 protein. It consists of a camelid VHH antibody fragment targeting CD16 on natural killer (NK) cells, a single-chain variable fragment (scFv) targeting HER2 on tumor cells, and a human interleukin-15 (IL-15) cytokine as a linker. The molecule simultaneously binds NK cells and HER2-positive cancer cells, delivering an IL-15 signal that induces robust NK cell expansion, activation, and cytotoxicity. Preclinical studies show enhanced NK cell-mediated killing, expansion, and activation against a broad panel of HER2-expressing tumors, especially ovarian and breast cancer, both in vitro and in xenograft mouse models[1][3][5].
