Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CAM2032 is a **long-acting subcutaneous depot formulation** of leuprolide acetate, delivered using Camurus' proprietary FluidCrystal technology for **monthly self-administration** via a prefilled syringe. It is being developed primarily for **prostate cancer**, with additional development for **endometriosis** and **precocious puberty**. CAM2032 provides a fast onset and sustained release of leuprolide, an agonist analog of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH), resulting in suppression of testosterone secretion and tumor progression in hormone-dependent conditions. Clinical studies show comparable safety and pharmacodynamics to standard leuprolide depots, with higher bioavailability and good tolerability. Developed by Camurus.
