CJCV2 is an experimental conjugate vaccine developed to prevent infection by Campylobacter jejuni, a leading cause of bacterial gastroenteritis and diarrhea worldwide. The vaccine is designed to stimulate the immune system to produce protective antibodies against C. jejuni, potentially reducing the risk of severe illness, especially in vulnerable populations such as young children and immunocompromised individuals. In clinical trials, CJCV2 has been evaluated both alone and in combination with the Army Liposome Formulation containing QS-21 (ALFQ) adjuvant, which is intended to enhance immunogenicity. The primary goal of ongoing studies is to assess safety and immune response following intramuscular administration[2][3][4].
