Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Camrelizumab + albumin-bound paclitaxel is a combination therapy that pairs a PD-1 inhibitor (camrelizumab) with a chemotherapeutic agent (albumin-bound paclitaxel, also known as nab-paclitaxel). This combination leverages potential synergistic effects between immunotherapy and chemotherapy. Albumin-bound paclitaxel can enhance the efficacy of PD-1 inhibitors by inducing immunogenic cell death and regulating various immune functions. Camrelizumab specifically binds to PD-1 and blocks the interaction between PD-1 and its ligand (PD-L1), allowing T cells to recover immune responses against tumors.
