Overview

CAPA is an induction immunotherapy combination regimen consisting of the PD-1 inhibitor camrelizumab, the VEGFR-2 tyrosine kinase inhibitor apatinib, and the asparagine-depleting enzyme pegaspargase. It is currently being evaluated in Phase 2 clinical trials (notably NCT04366128) as a first-line treatment for patients with de novo stage IE/IIE extranodal natural killer/T-cell lymphoma (ENKTL), nasal type. The regimen is designed to provide a synergistic therapeutic effect by combining immune checkpoint blockade, antiangiogenesis, and metabolic depletion of asparagine, potentially offering a more effective and less toxic alternative to traditional intensive chemotherapy regimens for this aggressive lymphoma subtype.
