Overview
Camrelizumab + nab-paclitaxel + cisplatin is a combination regimen used primarily as neoadjuvant chemoimmunotherapy for various solid tumors, including resectable locally advanced head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC), esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC), non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), and nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Camrelizumab is a monoclonal antibody that targets the programmed death 1 (PD‑1) receptor, acting as an immune checkpoint inhibitor to enhance anti-tumor immune responses. Nab-paclitaxel is a nanoparticle albumin-bound formulation of paclitaxel, which stabilizes microtubules and inhibits mitosis in cancer cells. Cisplatin is a platinum-based chemotherapeutic agent that induces DNA crosslinking and apoptosis in rapidly dividing cells. The combination has demonstrated improved pathologic complete response rates compared to chemotherapy alone in phase II/III trials for HNSCC and ESCC, with an acceptable safety profile[1][2][4][5].
