Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Can-SEEK is a preclinical-stage radiotheranostic program developed by Bach Biosciences in collaboration with Point Biopharma. The platform consists of lead candidates designed to be activated by fibroblast activation protein (FAP), an enzyme highly expressed in the tumor microenvironment. Once activated, these radiopharmaceuticals target either prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) or the folate receptor to deliver therapeutic or diagnostic radioactive isotopes directly to solid tumors. This dual-targeting or masked approach is intended to improve the precision of radioligand therapy by ensuring activation occurs primarily within the cancerous tissue.
