Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Canatrex is a proprietary hemp-based formulation developed by CBH International, LLC, primarily utilized in the Uncle Bud's line of topical pain relief and skincare products. It consists of a specialized blend of pure hemp seed oil (*Cannabis sativa* seed oil) combined with other supplements, moisturizers, and therapeutic ingredients. The formulation is designed to leverage the anti-inflammatory and moisturizing properties of hemp seed oil, which is rich in omega-3, omega-6, and omega-9 fatty acids, as well as antioxidants and vitamins. Canatrex is incorporated into various over-the-counter (OTC) topical analgesics and skincare items intended to relieve minor aches and pains associated with arthritis, muscle soreness, and joint stiffness. In many of its analgesic applications, Canatrex serves as a delivery system or therapeutic base for active pharmaceutical ingredients such as trolamine salicylate or methyl salicylate, which provide localized pain relief by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis.
