Candeamlo Plus

Candeamlo Plus is a fixed-dose triple combination antihypertensive medication developed by Shin Poong Pharmaceutical. It contains three active ingredients: candesartan cilexetil, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB); amlodipine besylate, a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker (CCB); and hydrochlorothiazide, a thiazide diuretic. The product is indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension in patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled by dual therapy of candesartan and amlodipine. By targeting three distinct physiological pathways—the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system, vascular smooth muscle contraction, and renal sodium reabsorption—Candeamlo Plus provides a synergistic effect to achieve significant blood pressure reduction with a favorable safety profile.
