Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Candi5V is a pentavalent bioconjugate vaccine developed as an immunostimulant for the prevention of Candida infections. As a vaccine, it is designed to stimulate an immune response against multiple (five) distinct antigens from the Candida genus, addressing the unmet need for a broad-coverage prophylactic against various types of candidiasis. This formulation is intended to prevent invasive and mucosal Candida infections, which are significant concerns especially in immunocompromised populations. Development is led by LimmaTech Biologics AG.
