Overview
Cangju Qinggan Jiangzhi decoction is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formula developed by Shuguang Hospital affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), specifically targeting patients with the TCM syndrome of liver stagnation and spleen deficiency combined with dampness. The decoction is designed to clear liver heat, resolve dampness, and reduce lipid accumulation in the liver. As a multi-herb formulation, it likely exerts its therapeutic effects through pleiotropic pathways, including the regulation of lipid metabolism and the reduction of hepatic inflammation.
