Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Canglob DHLaPPi is a veterinary hyperimmune globulin preparation developed by Dyntec for the passive immunization of dogs. It contains purified immunoglobulins (antibodies) specific to Canine Distemper virus (D), Canine Adenovirus (H/L - covering infectious hepatitis and infectious laryngotracheitis), Canine Parvovirus (P), and Canine Parainfluenza virus (Pi). Unlike active vaccines that stimulate the animal's own immune system to produce antibodies over time, Canglob provides immediate, short-term protection by delivering pre-formed antibodies. It is indicated for both the prophylaxis of these viral diseases in high-risk environments and as an adjunct therapy during the incubation period or early clinical stages of infection. The product is typically administered via subcutaneous or intramuscular injection and provides protection for approximately 2 to 4 weeks.
