cannabidiol + cannabigerol

Cannabidiol + cannabigerol is a combination of two non-psychoactive cannabinoids derived from the Cannabis sativa plant. Cannabidiol (CBD) acts primarily as a negative allosteric modulator of the cannabinoid receptor 1 (CB1), with additional activity at serotonin 5-HT1A receptors and transient receptor potential (TRP) channels. Cannabigerol (CBG) is considered a partial agonist at both CB1 and CB2 receptors, also modulating endocannabinoid signaling and acting on TRP channels, cyclooxygenase enzymes, alpha-2 adrenergic receptors, and serotonin 5-HT1A receptors. The combination has demonstrated anti-inflammatory effects in preclinical models[1][2], pain reduction in animal studies[3], synergistic or sub-additive effects depending on dosing conditions[2], as well as potential benefits for neuropathic pain, opioid withdrawal symptoms, anxiety disorders, neurodegenerative diseases such as multiple sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease[5][7]. Both compounds lack psychotomimetic effects.
