THC is a weak partial agonist at both CB1 and CB2 receptors; its activation leads to psychoactive effects as well as appetite stimulation, analgesia, muscle relaxation/spasticity reduction[3]. The combination may provide synergistic or additive therapeutic benefits for conditions such as chronic pain management, spasticity in multiple sclerosis (as seen with similar combinations like nabiximols), inflammation-related disorders, epilepsy (primarily via CBD), anxiety disorders (CBD), neurodegenerative diseases (CBG/CBD/THC), metabolic syndrome/hypertension (CBG), among others[2][9]. The exact clinical profile depends on the ratio of each component.
