Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SH-03 is a sublingual oil formulation containing a 1:1 ratio of cannabidiol (CBD) and tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), developed by Seach Sarid (Seach Medical Group) for the treatment of diabetic neuropathic pain. The drug acts as a modulator of the endocannabinoid system, primarily targeting cannabinoid receptors CB1 and CB2 to alleviate neuropathic pain symptoms. SH-03 is being evaluated in Israel in a Phase IIa randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus who have inadequately controlled diabetic neuropathic pain despite prior standard therapies.
