Overview
CannQuit-N is a functional, controlled-release, pharmaceutical-grade medicated chewing gum formulated as a combination drug containing nicotine and cannabidiol (CBD). Developed for the treatment of nicotine addiction and smoking cessation, it leverages both the established efficacy of nicotine replacement therapy and the potential anti-craving and anxiolytic effects of CBD. The product uses patented technology to deliver its active ingredients via oral mucosa for rapid onset and sustained effect, aiming to reduce cravings more effectively than traditional nicotine gum. The act of chewing itself may also contribute to anxiety reduction. The product is being developed by Incannex Healthcare following their acquisition of APIRx Pharmaceuticals’ intellectual property[3][4][5][8].
