Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**CannQuit-O** is an investigational oral fixed-dose small-molecule combination developed for **opioid use disorder**. Incannex acquired the CannQuit assets from APIRx Pharmaceuticals in 2022 and subsequently advanced CannQuit-O through a U.S. FDA pre-IND meeting completed on May 7, 2024. The product is a water-soluble chewable tablet designed with FDA-approved polymers to provide rapid and sustained release of cannabidiol and undisclosed opioid agonist and antagonist active ingredients. Its therapeutic rationale is to combine cannabinoid pharmacology with modulation of opioid signaling in a formulation intended to improve oral bioavailability and support treatment of opioid use disorder.
