Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Canntab O.D. tablet (also known as Canntab ODT) is an orally dissolving sublingual cannabinoid tablet developed by Canntab Therapeutics. The formulation contains phytocannabinoids, specifically cannabidiol (CBD) and/or tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), and is designed to dissolve rapidly under the tongue or in the buccal cavity. This route of administration allows the active ingredients to diffuse directly into the bloodstream through sublingual tissue, bypassing first-pass metabolism and achieving a rapid onset of action (typically within 5 to 30 minutes). Canntab utilizes proprietary nano-emulsification technology to enhance the bioavailability of the cannabinoids. The O.D. tablet is intended for conditions requiring fast-acting relief, such as nausea, vomiting, pain, anxiety, and muscle spasms.
