Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CANVAC DHP is a live attenuated trivalent veterinary vaccine developed by Dyntec for the active immunization of dogs. It is designed to protect against three major canine viral diseases: Canine Distemper, Infectious Hepatitis (caused by Canine Adenovirus Type 1), and Canine Parvovirus. The vaccine contains attenuated strains of the Canine Distemper Virus (CDV), Canine Adenovirus (CAV-2, which provides cross-protection against CAV-1), and Canine Parvovirus (CPV). Upon subcutaneous administration, the vaccine stimulates the dog's immune system to produce a protective response, preventing clinical signs and mortality associated with these pathogens. It is typically used in puppies and adult dogs as part of a core vaccination schedule.
