Overview
CANVAC DHPL is a multivalent veterinary vaccine developed by Dyntec for the active immunization of dogs starting from 8 weeks of age. The vaccine is designed to provide broad protection against four major canine pathogens: Canine Distemper Virus (D), Canine Adenovirus (H, specifically type 2 which cross-protects against type 1/infectious hepatitis), Canine Parvovirus (P), and Leptospira interrogans (L). It is typically supplied as a two-component system consisting of a lyophilized pellet containing live attenuated viral strains (CDV, CAV-2, and CPV) and a liquid solvent containing inactivated Leptospira serovars (icterohaemorrhagiae and canicola). Vaccination with CANVAC DHPL helps reduce clinical signs, viral shedding, and mortality associated with these common and potentially fatal canine infections.
