CanVirex04 is an investigational oncolytic virus therapy being developed by CanVirex, a biotechnology company focused on measles virus-based cancer immunotherapies. The candidate utilizes a measles virus (MV) vector platform, specifically derived from the live-attenuated Schwartz vaccine strain, which is engineered to selectively infect and lyse tumor cells (oncolysis) while simultaneously stimulating a systemic anti-tumor immune response.
