Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CAR-511 is a preclinical drug candidate developed by Carmel Biosciences, a pharmaceutical company specializing in cardiovascular and metabolic therapies. It was part of a pipeline of four preclinical candidates (CAR-509, CAR-510, CAR-511, CAR-512) that Nutriband briefly intended to acquire as part of an all-stock transaction for Carmel Biosciences. The acquisition, valued at approximately $2.7 million, was aimed at expanding Nutriband's portfolio into oral liquid drugs and cardiovascular/metabolic diseases, but the agreement was terminated in November 2018.
