CAR ICT CD123 is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy targeting CD123 (interleukin-3 receptor subunit alpha), currently in development for the treatment of acute myeloid leukemia (AML). The therapy is produced using a proprietary manufacturing method known as Immunocoaching T Cells (ICT), which involves culturing whole bone marrow samples from AML patients with a CD3-CD123 bispecific antibody and a specific cocktail of cytokines and checkpoint inhibitors. This process is designed to overcome common manufacturing failures in AML by enhancing T-cell viability, expansion, and tumor-homing capabilities. The CAR construct incorporates both CD28 and 4-1BB costimulatory domains to optimize persistence and anti-tumor activity.
