Overview

CAR-iNK is an allogeneic, 'off-the-shelf' cancer immunotherapy being developed by CellOrigin Biotechnology. The therapy is composed of Natural Killer (NK) cells derived from induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) that have been genetically engineered to express a Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR). This CAR is designed to direct the NK cells to specifically recognize and eliminate tumor cells. By utilizing an iPSC-based platform, the therapy aims to provide a uniform, scalable, and readily available alternative to autologous cell therapies, which are often limited by manufacturing complexity and patient-specific variability. The program is primarily focused on the treatment of solid tumors and is administered via intravenous injection.
