Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CAR-T-19 is a cell therapy utilizing T cells that have been genetically modified to express chimeric antigen receptors (CARs) targeting the CD19 protein. This investigational biological treatment is being developed for various CD19-positive hematological malignancies, including relapsed/refractory B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. The therapy aims to harness the patient's own immune system to recognize and eliminate cancer cells expressing CD19.
