Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CAR-T-19F is a preclinical-stage chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy being developed by Pharos Biologicals. It is designed to treat B-cell malignancies, specifically B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) and Diffuse Large B-cell Lymphoma (DLBCL). The therapeutic mechanism involves the genetic modification of T cells to express a receptor that targets the CD19 antigen, a well-established biomarker for B-cell lineage cancers. By binding to CD19 on the surface of malignant cells, CAR-T-19F cells initiate a cytotoxic immune response to eliminate the tumor.
