Overview
CAR003 (also known as mCAR003) is a preclinical-stage therapeutic candidate being developed by Caravan Biologix for longevity and age-related diseases. It is designed using Caravan's CT (CAR-Targeted) Nano-BioSphere platform, which utilizes cell-derived nanovesicles (CDVs) or extracellular vesicle mimetics. CAR003 is armed with a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) targeted to senescent cells. By specifically identifying and binding to senescent cells, CAR003 is intended to clear these cells, thereby reducing tissue dysfunction and chronic inflammation associated with aging and potentially extending healthy lifespan.
