Overview

A combination chemotherapy regimen consisting of carboplatin, cyclophosphamide, epirubicin, nab-paclitaxel, and paclitaxel. This combination is primarily used in neoadjuvant settings for triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). The regimen typically involves sequential administration, such as nab-paclitaxel followed by dose-dense epirubicin/cyclophosphamide (EC), or other variations of these agents. Nab-paclitaxel is a solvent-free formulation of paclitaxel with an improved safety profile. Epirubicin is an anthracycline considered equivalent to doxorubicin in breast cancer treatment.
