Overview

The combination of carboplatin, cixutumumab, and paclitaxel is a treatment regimen that has been studied in clinical trials for advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). This combination includes two chemotherapy drugs (carboplatin and paclitaxel) along with cixutumumab, which is a monoclonal antibody targeting the insulin-like growth factor-1 receptor (IGF-1R). In clinical trials, patients typically received: Carboplatin at an area under the curve (AUC) of 6 intravenously, Paclitaxel 200 mg/m² intravenously on day 1 every 3 weeks, and Cixutumumab intravenously every 2 weeks.
