Overview

This is a combination of five chemotherapeutic agents used in sequential high-dose chemotherapy regimens for advanced cancers such as metastatic breast cancer. The regimen typically involves three separate cycles of high-dose therapy with peripheral blood progenitor support and G-CSF. The regimen has shown feasibility in clinical trials for women with metastatic breast cancer who have at least a partial response to induction chemotherapy[1][2][3].
