carboplatin + docetaxel + pembrolizumab

Carboplatin + docetaxel + pembrolizumab is an anthracycline-free neoadjuvant regimen that combines two chemotherapy agents (carboplatin and docetaxel) with an immune checkpoint inhibitor (pembrolizumab). This combination has been studied primarily for triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) and shows encouraging pathologic complete response (pCR) rates and event-free survival (EFS). The regimen is typically administered every 21 days for 6 cycles, with carboplatin at AUC 6, docetaxel at 75 mg/m², and pembrolizumab at 200 mg. Myeloid growth factor support is usually administered with all cycles to manage bone marrow suppression.
