Carboplatin + doxorubicin is a combination chemotherapy regimen consisting of two cytotoxic agents used primarily in the treatment of ovarian cancer and other solid tumors. Carboplatin is a platinum-based compound that induces DNA crosslinking and apoptosis by forming covalent bonds with DNA bases, thereby inhibiting DNA replication and transcription.
