Overview

This is a combination regimen consisting of four agents: - **Carboplatin** (a platinum-based chemotherapy agent that causes DNA crosslinking and apoptosis in rapidly dividing cells) - **Inetetamab** (a biosimilar monoclonal antibody to trastuzumab, targeting the HER2 receptor) - **Paclitaxel** (a taxane-class chemotherapeutic that stabilizes microtubules, inhibiting cell division) - **Pertuzumab** (a monoclonal antibody targeting a different epitope on the HER2 receptor than trastuzumab/inetetamab, blocking dimerization and downstream signaling) This combination is designed for the treatment of HER2-positive cancers—most commonly breast cancer—by combining cytotoxic chemotherapy with dual anti-HER2 targeted therapy. The dual blockade of HER2 by inetetamab and pertuzumab provides synergistic inhibition of tumor growth. Carboplatin and paclitaxel provide broad cytotoxic activity against dividing tumor cells.
