carboplatin + pemetrexed + sugemalimab

This is a combination therapy consisting of carboplatin (a platinum-based chemotherapy), pemetrexed (an antifolate chemotherapy), and sugemalimab (a PD-L1 inhibitor). Sugemalimab is a fully human, full-length, anti-programmed death ligand 1 (PD-L1) immunoglobulin G4 (IgG4) monoclonal antibody developed by CStone Pharmaceuticals. The combination has demonstrated statistically significant and clinically meaningful improvement in progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) compared to chemotherapy alone in patients with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). This regimen is specifically approved for first-line treatment of patients with metastatic non-squamous NSCLC lacking EGFR and ALK genomic tumor aberrations.
