carboplatin + sintilimab

Carboplatin + sintilimab is a combination therapy that pairs carboplatin, a platinum-based chemotherapy agent, with sintilimab, an anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody. This combination has been studied in various cancer types, particularly in lung cancer. In advanced squamous non-small cell lung cancer (sq-NSCLC), the combination with nab-paclitaxel showed encouraging progression-free survival of 11.4 months and better tolerability as first-line treatment. For extensive-stage small cell lung cancer (ES-SCLC), the combination demonstrated superior efficacy compared to chemotherapy alone as second-line treatment, with higher objective response and disease control rates, and significantly prolonged progression-free and overall survival. The combination has also been studied in classical Hodgkin lymphoma (cHL) with ifosfamide and etoposide (ICE), showing improved complete remission rates.
