Carborax-Z is a multi-ingredient oral nutritional supplement capsule developed and marketed by Rax Health Care. The formulation contains Carbonyl Iron (100mg), Zinc (61.8mg), Folic Acid (1.5mg), Vitamin B12 (15mcg), and Vitamin C (75mg). It is primarily indicated for the prevention and treatment of iron deficiency anemia and as a prenatal supplement to support maternal and fetal health. Carbonyl iron provides a source of elemental iron for hemoglobin synthesis; folic acid and vitamin B12 are essential for DNA synthesis and red blood cell maturation; zinc supports fetal growth and maternal health; and vitamin C is included to enhance the intestinal absorption of iron.
