Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CARCIK-CD22 is an investigational donor-derived, non-viral chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) cytokine-induced killer (CIK) cell therapy engineered to target CD22. Developed using a Sleeping Beauty (SB) transposon-based platform, CARCIK-CD22 is designed to treat B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL), particularly in patients who have relapsed or are resistant to anti-CD19 CAR-T cell therapies. The therapy utilizes healthy donor peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) electroporated with SB plasmids encoding the anti-CD22 CAR, offering a multi-targeting strategy to prevent and address post-CAR-T leukemia relapses.
