Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CardiaPill CP-101 is a fixed-dose combination (polypill) small molecule therapeutic developed by CardioPharma for the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease (CVD). The formulation integrates three distinct pharmacological classes: a cholesterol-modifying agent, an antihypertensive agent, and an antiplatelet agent. This multi-mechanism approach is designed to simplify treatment regimens, thereby improving patient adherence and reducing the incidence of major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE). The program has completed retrospective clinical studies and analytical chemistry assessments, including shelf-life and pharmacokinetics studies, and is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
