CardioCure

CardioCure is an autologous cell therapy developed by Gamida Cell for the treatment of patients following an acute myocardial infarction (AMI). The therapy utilizes the company's proprietary cell expansion technology to increase the number of stem and progenitor cells derived from a patient's own bone marrow. These expanded cells are then delivered via intramyocardial injection into the damaged areas of the heart, with the goal of promoting cardiac regeneration, improving myocardial function, and restoring blood flow to ischemic tissues. The product was evaluated in Phase I/II clinical trials to assess safety and efficacy in post-heart attack patients, aiming to assist with the functional restoration of damaged myocardial tissue.
