Overview

Cardiomyopeptidin is a peptide active substance extracted from the ventricular myocytes of healthy young pigs. It is being investigated for its cardioprotective effects, aiming to reduce infarct size, preserve viable myocardium, and improve microcirculation following myocardial injury, particularly in patients with acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction. It is also being explored for its cardioprotective effect in ICU patients with non-organic heart disease.
