Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CARENTAI is an investigational T-cell receptor (TCR) engineered T-cell therapy being developed by Keshihua (Nanjing) Biotechnology (also known as TCRx or 科士华南京生物技术有限公司). This gene-modified cell therapy is designed to target and eliminate malignant cells in patients with B-cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL) and B-cell lymphoma. As a TCR-based therapy, it involves the genetic modification of a patient's T cells to express specific T-cell receptors that recognize tumor-associated antigens presented by the major histocompatibility complex (MHC). The therapy is currently in early-stage development for hematologic B-cell malignancies.
